I'm looking at buying the Canon Selphy CP1500, but I'm wondering about whether or not the ink and paper (and Canon's printer ink and paper in general) contain animal products/derivatives (ex: gelatin, bone char, shellac, etc.).
I found 2 quotes from Canon support claiming that they don't, but the quotes were from 2009 and 2010, so I'm wondering if that's changed or not.
I'm aware that I'm being the 'annoying vegan', but I had to ask about this.

Are you printing pictures to eat them? Or rub your body with them?
What's your concern?

Hi mstack,
The ink and paper are not considered vegan.
