useing a 2nd gen rebel XT w/ 28-135 zoom lens,on automatic settings.Photographing paintings at 3456-2304.After cropping, the small thumbnails are fine, but when double clicking on image,it only gets to about 1 1/2- 3 inchs, not big enough for an art website.I am shooting these paintings filling up all the frame I can to minimize what is cropped. My knowledge of computers, photography, cameras, settings etc. is extremly limited . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Your camera is not a megapixel monster but it could make a good 8 x 10. How big do you need.

It sounds like you are losing data when you upload to the site, actually. You talk about double clicking thumbnails. What software and what website?

Also, are you shooting highest quality (biggest file) jpg's?

Why do so many people say "FER-tographer"? Do they take "fertographs"?
