I’m wanting to enroll in a copier training program through canon. Could someone direct me in the direction I need to go or give me a contact? I tried the general 1800 number and they had no information.

A previous answer on this site may have the information that you seek - https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/General-Discussion/Canon-Photocopier-Technician-Certification-Pro... Rick mentions in that that article searching for Canon ATSP Certification Program. That search resulted in a flyer at file:///C:/Users/massm/Downloads/Service%20Training%20Flyer%201-25-2021.pdf and a site - https://www.gosccs.com/about-us/awards/canon-atsp. Plus some others. Hopefully that will get you started in a better direction. One of the people posted something about Google offering training, but I didn't find that.

Good luck on the training. I'm wondering if the Google class would have any kind of recognition or certification. I would stick with Canon. My thinking on this is a local situation. Students took classes for various positions as medical assistant, etc., in healthcare. When it came to find a job, they had wasted time and money as the school wasn't certified for the various disciplines.
