Not something technical I need help with, but couldn't figure out where else this would go so putting it here.
Why doesn't Canon use DGO tech in it's photography sensors? Is it just cost? Is it simply not possible to read both circuits at 14-bit simultaneously and so the colour depth is compromised? Is it just product segmentation?
I ask this because the S35 DGO sensor is claimed to have more DR than their full-frame chips and because Arri has had the tech for 15+ years. Yet I don't know of any photography application that uses the tech
