Canon Dash Camera for Cars?

Dear Folks,

I am looking for a dash camera for my car. During my business trip to UAE, I hired a car from a car rental company in Dubai [link removed per forum guidelines], and I saw a dash camera device and its written canon on that. Upon looking, I am confused that is that an original one or not. Look and feel of the same is not good. Did anybody know whether Canon has a car dash camera?

Please advise.

Canon doesn't sell dashcams.  But if they did, I'd probably have a look.
