Just snagged the 24-105 f4 lens refurbished for $899. Figured it was a good deal and not sure if it’ll be back tomorrow cheaper. Going to be my daily driver lens for everyday use except wildlife. Anyone with experience with this lens? Thoughts?

Greetings ,
The 24-105 f4 is a great lens. It will provide a FOV equivalent of 38-168 on your R7. This will work nicely as a daily driver on your camera. What it won't provide is wide angle or strength shooting in dimly lit or night time scenarios.
It will not give you the reach you need for wildlife photography. You would have to get very close and would risk spooking your subjects.
I'm not sure what your budget is? A Sigma EF 60-600, 150-600c, Tamron EF 150-600 G2 or *Canon RF 100-500 might be better suited for wildlife endeavors.
