Telephoto lens recommendations for nature photography

whats the best lense for my eos 2000d

Hi, so i have my camera and i got a 2.2x telephoto lense on my kit lense but i get a ring around the image when i zoom in to much. whats the best lense to shoot nature on that camera, ive tried trying to find a new telephote and wide angle lense but im very lost. also anyone got tips to shoot better animal and nature pictures. i know a better lense would help and i just have no clue what to get.

You mention two different genres of photography animal (wildlife) and nature. Nature is a fairly wide open description so I will assume landscape since you are looking for something wide. 

For wildlife you'll need some reach and something like a 150-600mm would be a good purchase for animal/wildlife. Sigma has the affordable C and Tamron has the G2, both will treat you well.

Having a APS-C sensor you may want to take a look @ BH Photo, KEH or MPB to see what is available. Currently BH photo has a very good condition Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM Lens for Canon EF-S that is a decent lens. 

Other will most likely drop in to offer further assistance.

The recommendations my colleagues have made are spot on. 

The only thing I can add is this dump the 2.2x lens, converter, adapter, whatever it is, it's low quality....  To put it nicely.  

I understand you're working with an 8 yr old camera, but in order for it to give you consistent results, you need to pair it with a higher quality lens.  Sometimes the lenses in these less expensive "cheaper" optics are plastic. Other times they are glass which is better, but they still won't perform as well as a quality lens would.  I promise you will see the difference immediately.  Your camera will thank you too!

okay thankyou!! the thing is when i shoot with my current telephoto lense if i zoom out to much i get a black riung around my  photo. and im wondering what lense i should have for shooting sunsets. also how do i get my pictures to be less overexposed, cause whenever i shoot a sunset the sky is always stupid bright or the foreground is black.

This is a camera problem. not a lens problem. Your camera may have a special sunset setting, or you can reduce the exposure (make the picture darker) a few stops.

ok, thankyou. whats the best mirrorless camera under 600? or what camera should i get i want to shoot higher res pics and better quality and i know my cameras not made for that.

600 whats? In any case, your camera 200D/T7 should be perfectly fine, I shouldn't have said that it is a camera "problem" more like a camera "setting" It is very easy to add exposure compensation on the T7:
