Did you mean:

for reference: i’m currently a high school senior and would like to spend under 3k(if you are planning on recommending something else) and currently have R6 Mii with a 35 and 50 lens. i typically shoot with my 35 most all the time, but i would like to get into some weddings, as my current job is at a local wedding company where i mainly edit and shadow the prof photographers there. so i know how a typical wedding would go as a photographer- i would just like to get my own set up, so i can second shoot with them 🙂 thanks!

Greetings,

Either lens is going to serve you well.  The 24-70 is going to be a step above in build quality. optics. IQ and performance.  It's the better lens overall and it's price Is commensurate of this.
