So on my t7i when i touch the screen at place i want to focus the square pops up but it doesnt focus on it. I havent changed any settings so it makes no sense. NO IT IS NOT THE AF MOTOR. happens with all lenses. It used to be that when this happened i could use half shutter press to focus but now even that is not working.... Manual focusing works fine but manual is NOT what i bought this camera for.
I noticed it after plugging my camera into my new gimbal .ever since i havent been able to auto focus in movie mode. and yes the gimbal in unplugged from the camera. That was first thing i tried.
