It has been a couple of weeks since I used my dslr but when I tried turn it on nothing happened but when I tried turn it on nothing happened except err sign on the lcd. I have tried multiple batteries, switching lens, cleaning lens connection ports, and switching sd cards but nothing worked. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

I think your best bet is to call 1-800-OK-CANON and talk to a tech for that one.
