Hello good afternoon!
Suddenly my Canon 4000d stopped recognizing the memory card. I was told that it could be the SD card slot reader board. Is this type of replacement part available? Thank you very much.

This is not a do-it-yourself replacement, if that's even the problem. Best to send camera to Canon Repair Service for diagnosis.

First of all what kind of memory card are you using Full Size or a Micro SD Card in an adapter. If a Micro SD Card in an adapter discontinue the use of it. Buy quality name brand SD Card not a cheap one from Amazon. Stick with 32GB or smaller for your camera. Your camera doesn't work well with cards larger than 32GB. Even though the manual says its "compatible" its NOT. Watchout for Gray Market SD Cards or counterfeit SD Cards. Amazon, Walmart & Facebook Marketplaces aren't reputable stores. Like B&H Photo, Adorama or any Authorized Dealer.
Don't buy Cheap SD Cards
