When I use focus bracketing on my R5 sometimes it uses the electronic shutter and sometimes it uses the electronic first curtain shutter. Can someone point me to an explanation of what parameters cause the shift from electronic to electronic first curtain shutter? Thanks.
The answer appears to be which lens you are using. With my EF 100mm f2.8 macro (the original, not the L version with IS) focus bracketing uses the electronic first curtain shutter. With my RF 24-240mm focus bracketing uses the electronic shutter.
