T5i - remote control, adjust timer?

Have a new remote for my T5i, got it working OK but I have a question.  The default setting for using the remote is to have a 10 second delay, questions:

can you change the 10 second delay for the remote?

can you use remote and have multiple shots at once, say 5 shots burst?

thanks

I'm pretty sure that the remote control would work with the camera set for 2 second delay mode, too.  The camera itself generates repetitive triggers of the shutter for continuous shooting.

Continuous shooting using a remote would be up to your remote control.  Your camera will not take pictures with the remote as fast as it can when it is set for continuous shooting mode.  A remote shutter control will not boost the frame rate.  It is likely that the camera could be damaged if you tried to do so.

Thanks for the reply..

I double checked and tested, it works only on the 10 second mode

So the reason I bought this was to help photograph some wildlife in our yard that I cant get near, I am guessing this is not the answer

There should be a switch on the back of the remote that changes that.
