Rebel T6 and Iphone 8 Plus

I use wifi to connect the 2 devices and transfer pictures. While scrolling through photo albums on my phone, i have discovered that it has created THOUSANDS of empty phone albums on my phone labeled "canon rebel t6". Sadly with the iphone, photo albums can only be deleted one-by-one and it will take me days to complete. Does anyone have a solution to #1, preventing it from creating albums and #2, deleting multiple albums at once?
