R100 problems transferring photos to smartphone

Whenever I try to transfer photos using the canon camera connect app it won't connect and a notification pops up saying "something came up. The application has canceled the request to choose a device"

I have a One plus 7 pro and I believe it's android version 10

Is this your device?  I’ve never heard of Oneplus before.  It does not seem to be running an actual Android OS.  You just might be out of luck with that brand and operating system.
