Hi folks
Just enjoying having my pocket camera back after my son took it to eSwatini for 2 weeks, and a bit longer.
Yesterday he was playing cricket just South of Manchester, see first photo.
If you look on the horizon to the right, you can see a national grid electric pylon. This I was able to zoom in on, with a mini tripod and get the second picture. Quite amazing, in my humble opinion, for a small, old camera. And you can see the cables.
So to my questions: given it was a sunny day, I struggled to see the screen, so I activated my canon connect on my Samsung phone. But while it was connected, it limited the zoom and other functions. So was I going something wrong, or is that just the way it is.
Second question: answers in simple terms please, how on earth does a digital zoom reach 2 miles in such detail!
