I received my EOS M today. I cannot access the Advanced functions - P, Av, Tv, ISO setting etc.

I cannot access these functions.  In the (camera photo) setting on the main dial, I only see options for Creative Auto,  The promised icon on the upper left of the screen does not seem to appear, nor does either the printed manual or the pdf manual mention how to get to that screen.  The menu page that promises the iso setting options does not inlude those options.   Thanks.

There should be two different settings on the main dial, the creative auto (A+) and the  still photo (camera icon).  I'm pretty sure you have to be in the still photo mode to operate the settings manually.

edit:  if you are in the correct mode you still have to hit the  Q button to  bring up the screen.
