Have a t1i model camera.will it support a 64 gb memory card

Bought a 64 gb memory card for daughters camera and it will not format or read doesn't even recognize it there Does this camera support the new 64 gb Package that it came in says new high power stuff.its a sandisc

It's because your camera is compatible with SDHC memory cards with a capacity of up to 32GB.  You'll need to downsize on memory.  BTW, make sure to get "Class 10" memory so you'll have the best transfer speeds.  The added cost is minor and you'll be glad you did.
