Hello
I have owned an EOS Rebel T3 (not i) for quite a few years and have recently been trying to update the firmware but have encountered a problem that has baffled me (perhaps it's me!).
When I follow the clear instructions on the Canon site, I stop at the point where it references "Firmware Ver" b/c there is no item on the Menu list (right hand wrench)
Can one, in fact, update the FW on a T3 or only a T3i? The Canon support site suggests that this is possible at the document header line, but only references the T3i in the body of the document ...

Any help would be appreciated 🙂
Thank you
Mike R

You might have to have the camera in one of the "creative" modes: PAS or M, some menu items are limited in automatic modes like green square.
