EOS550D folder?

I have a EOS 550D.  I can't see a folder function. Does that mean this camera will not put photos in a folder? Or is there some way to do this? I put a folder on the memory card via the PC, but the photos are just listed  as normal, outside the folder.

A quick perusal of the manual can't find anything, so it looks like you have to use the default fililng system. All you can do is change the file numbering scheme to reset everytime you erase the card.

You should only format SD memory cards in the camera.  I would avoid the SDXC cards, 64GB and larger.  Stick to the typical cards that were available a year or two before the camera was released.
