You might find that the power saving feature is causing the camera to shut down. In the user manual refer to P313 to see how to reset that value from the default. For a PDF of the manual select THIS LINK
I strongly recommend going through the manual to make yourself familiar with the features of the camera, it will give you a lot more control over it and make the best of your purchase
