Hello, I have a Cannon EOS Rebel T6 and when I take a picture there always seems to be a line through it horizontal or vertical. I have tried different lenses thinking there might be a scratch but that is not the case. I would like to say it might be old not sure what year but i would not like to retire it yet so if there is any cure/fix to it that would be great!
Could I fix this problem for free? Or hopefully cheap!

Perhaps it has been hit by laser? It will cost you more to replace the sensor than to buy a similar or better used camera.
If you want to continue to use it there is always RawTherapee. You will need to shoot raw and you will need to blacklist all the defective pixels. Should take less than five minutes to blacklist those pixels.

I can see a vertical black line in the upper vertical shot, but nothing horizontal in the horizontal shot. Perhaps you are seeing the same line in the same orientation of the frame?
Have you taken a look at the sensor for a scratch or something fine stuck on it? This could account for what you see.
Scratches or anything on a lens do not show up in an image, period.
