EOS Rebel T1i: Weird misaligned LCD in viewfinder

I have a rebel t1i, and in the viewfinder, the green LCD is misaligned. It’s somewhat difficult to make out the shutter speed, and the circle on the very right is not in the outline and takes more of a crescent moon shape. Any ideas?

You can also kind of see the W on the right is also a little bit lit up, and I don’t know what the 9 on the right is either.

Something(focussing screen?) is loose/has shifted inside your camera, maybe visible without lens and with mirror locked-up. Sometimes diy fixable, otherwise repairshop.

The 9 is the number of shots left in the buffer, take a burst and you see it going down first, will go up again when photo's are written to the card.

Are there any tutorials on how to fix it DIY? I haven't been able to find any.
