EOS RP with RF 70-200mm F2.8 L MF/AF setting in camera?

Is there a setting in the EOS RP camera which can completely disable the AF, equivalent to sliding the switch on the 70-200mm lens? Some posts refer to this in the Shooting settings 7 and 8 but I don't see an MF/AF setting there.  (I understand how to use all the AF settings in 7, 8 to enable MF during AF mode).

The menu option to set the lens focus mode only applies to RF lenses without the AF/MF switch. Since your lens already has the AF/MF switch those options won't appear in the menu.

Greetings,

I would strongly suggest you read the manual for your camera.  👀

EOS RP Manual https://share.google/YA2RNOeQdNxvbR4ax

Put the mode dial to "M" and move the AF / MF switch on the lens to MF.  The camera will then manual focus.

I'm not sure what shooting settings 7 , 8 is?  Maybe this is a menu option.  Can you clarify.

Maybe I'm not understanding your question?
