Hello everyone.
I have a very specific question. I use gphoto2 for projects requiring automated photography. In short, gphoto2 allows to control through USB a bunch of camera, and is easy to integrate with other processes thanks to a python API. I need to buy new cameras for the project, and the EOS R50 would be the sweet spot. But unfortunately, I could not ascertain that it is supported by gphoto2 (not in the official list of supported camera, but I suspect that it could work, but was not tested or officially validated).
So, I am kind of looking for the person that would both own a EOS R50, and be willing to check if they can take pictures with it using gphoto2 (which arguably requires to not be afraid of a command line program).
Cheers.

Hi! Was wondering the same thing and like you drawing a blank. Took the plunge and can confirm that gphoto2 sees the camera and can capture images, at least on MacOS. If there's a particular functionality I can check for you then let me know!
