EOS R5 Mark II Eye focus never reaches top part of screen

I have tried calibrating the new eye focus feature on the canon R52, but after a few attempts have been finding the focus never reaches the top 1/5 of the screen. It will follow my eye to all other parts below that. Any tips?

It’s my understanding that the Eye AF calibration process is a learning experience for both you and the camera.
