EOS R5 Can't do multiple exposure with 24-240mm lens, OK with 70-200mm

Sorry for my previous post. I am new to this site. I’m unable to make a multiple exposure with a Canon 24-240mm lens on my R5. However, I can take multiple exposures with a 70-200 f2.8 lens. Has anyone figured out how to do this? Once a 24-240mm lens is attached, you cannot enable the feature to take a multiple exposure. Thanks

Lenses like the RF-S 18-150, RF 10-20, 24-240, 24-105 (variable) are reliant on lens corrections.  When used in conjuction with some body's the camera is not able to apply or process these corrections at an acceptable rate. Some examples are AF speed, Aperture changes, Subject geometry alignment (changes) across multiple frames.  The frames cannot be processed quickly enough.

The manual includes this cryptic note:

I guess the 24-240 is one of those lenses.

Based on the information I found, its caused by the lens corrections applied by the camera.  They cannot be disabled, and thus the lens cannot do multiple exposures.

Referenced lenses were:

RF24-240

RF 24-105 f4-7.1

This is from the RF 24-240 Manual:

Thanks. It doesn’t really make sense. Why would Canon limit the use of certain lenses?
