When I first got my canon m50, when I recorded a video and played it back, the audio was loud. I could hear audio clearly and even adjust the volume.
After a while, it suddenly stopped playing audio whenever I played back a video.
A friend of mine who also owns an M50 still gets audio when playing back a video.
I don't know what went wrong with my camera and I can't seam to find any solution online.

How were you capturing audio when filming? External microphone? If so, what was the exact model and how was it connected along with the camera's audio settings. I'm wondering if audio circuitry got damaged somehow?

I use a Boom Microphone and connect directly into the camera Mic input.
Camera Audio setting is set to Manual. I manually adjust audio levels et al.
I r corded a video today, the audio was captured fine, because I can hear it when I copy the files to my laptop, but I can't monitor it in real time while I'm on the field because the playback has no sound.
It's frustrating 😭

Sometimes, I use a lapel mic too, but rarely.

Do you have the playback volume adjusted all the way up?

Yes, I have it turned all the way up. Still no sound.
