EOS 60D Not taking photo, blurry photo

EOS 60D 18-55mm lens

Used it perfectly fine before, suddenly today, when I tried to take photo, it shows Busy (flash icon), and photo is not taken.

Even I changed the mode, switch to MF on lens, the photo goes blurry and the red laser (auto focus) never appear again.

Is it possible that you've unknowingly changed a custom setting for it to work with Back Button Focus?

Did you do the rest and the lens reset trick yet?

That behavior is consistent with attempting to use a built/in flash before it has recharged.

How old is the battery?  If you bought an older used camera, then it’s possible that the battery is as old as the camera.  Ditto for the charger. Just buy a new battery for now.

Check the shooting mode.  Make certain the camera is not in movie mode. The flash is only used for capturing stills.
