Canon 7D

What would make a Canon 7D not be able to read or write to any of my cards? I have tried about ten, new and old.

Possibly the card reader in the camera is malfunctioning. Bent pin, loose cable, etc. Probably requires a trip to Canon Service. Good luck.

I forgot to mention that my old 20D is doing the exact same thing... Not able to read, write, reformat any of my cards.
Too weird.

That's interesting. I've been through two 30D, three 50D, two 5D, a 7D and a 5DII bodies without any CF card problems in the camera. If you take them out and put them in every time, like I do, maybe you're putting pressure unevenly or something.

Just to cover bases, I'd try the cards with someone else's bodies and connect the body to a computer and use camera window to make sure everything else is working.
