Hello!
I have a Canon 6D, and the quick wheel has stopped working. I can't control the aperture or scroll quickly through the images any longer. I've had my camera for about a year and a half.
I've tried taking my batteries out, I've tried messing with the lock button, and looking through the menu options but nothing works.
Any type of help would be appreciated, thank you!

I suggest that you call Canon U.S. Support at 1-800-OK-CANON.

I don't think removing the batteries will reset a 6D, Unless you leave them out for a long time so the keep alive can drain.
But you can reset or clear all settings in te menu tab. You should do that first. When any odd behavior happens this is the first step. So do clear all settings and leave the dial on 'P'. Try again.
Disclaimer, I don't have or use a 6D so this may or may not help but worth a try.
