I'm looking to upgrade from my little M200, I'd like to keep it under $1000 for body and a single lens to start. I'm a beginner but will be taking some photography classes at the local college in spring. I do a lot of pictures and video of my wife's band and other local bands, I also have a interest in wildlife and outdoor since we live in a mountain community and I spend time in the outdoors. I know I will need different lenses for my two areas of interest, the first is my first priority.
Pics and videos will be used for the band's website and social media and used to show venue owners to book gigs, I have the ability to do the audio recording separately and add to any video I take.
