Hi,
I have a Mac Pro Tower running 10.11.4. recently my Canon raw files have lost their preview icon and are only showing up as blank white icons. I could see them before, now I can't and I dont think anything as really changed.
Ive run ONYX which usually rebuilds any icon issues I have and it didnt help.
How can I get my icon previews back?

Open the Folder
Right-click (or press Cmd+J)
Tick the box for "Show icon preview"
That should fix it.

I keep tying that and it does nothing. And all my other icons, jpgs and tifs, are showing up fine. its the raw files that I cant see. and the files themselves are good. They open up in photoshop and I cna process them into tifs no problem.
I'm stumped!

Normally it just needs the Camera RAW update from Apple ... which also tells Finder how to preview the icon and use 'Quicklook' .
If you select the icon and tap the spacebar does it open in quicklook?

They are part of the system updates.
Did you install some other software that might have taken over the icon for your .cr2's?
