Best Compact Flash card for a 40D

What's the fastest & largest compact flash card which will work in the EOS 40D?

I think 40D has around 11MB/s. Any modern CF card should be fast enough.

The best CF card for a 40D is whatever the Canon manual recommends.  Pushing the limits can cause problems,  Use the CF cards Canon recommends.

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to say in the manual. That's why I'm hoping to get input from those in the know here on the forum. (I've been using a SanDisk Extreme III, 8Gig, 30MB/second. But, I'd like to go faster if not bigger... Thanks
