where do I find the battery that runs the date and time?

Hi gorja55,
Thank you for the post. The date/time battery is inside the battery compartment of the camera. If you remove the battery that powers the camera, along the front edge of the battery compartment you should see a slide out battery holder tray that has "CR2016 3V" written on it. If you slide the tray out, you can replace the CR2016 lithium battery that holds the date/time settings in the camera.
If this is a time sensitive-matter, additional support options are available at Contact Us.
