i use back button for focus. But the point moves around, so i have to press another button to make it move to the center. Is there a way that it is just centered all the time ?

Thank you.  I have the same camera and I also use BBF.  There are a lot of options for this, but can get mine to stay in the centre.  These are my settings for Av mode, I have different ones for tracking people and animals:
In the Purple (Focus) section:

P1
AF Operation      AI Focus
AF Area              Spot AF
Whole are track  On
Subject detect     Auto
Eye detection      left but can change
Switch subjects   1
Focus Mode        AF

P2 Servo cases: left in Auto
P3
One Shot prior      Focus
Preview                 Disable
Lens drive             On
AF beam               LED
P4
Touch & Drag        Off
Limit AF areas       Spot AF
AF area control      M-Fn
Sensitivity               0
Orientation link       (bottom option in list)
Limit subject            Auto
L/R eye detect        Off
P5
MF peaking            Off
Focus Guide          Off
Movie servo           Disable (I shoot only stills)
Wrench Menu:

Custom buttons
shutter 1/2 press       Metering start
M-Fn                          Direct AF area select
AF-ON                       Metering and AF start
*                                 *
AF button                   Eye detect
SET                            Set AF to center
Multi controller            Direct AF selection

If you want to try this lot out, I suggest you save your current Av settings to C1 mode
Then go into C2 and make the settings above, and save those to C2

Try them out and let me know how it goes.

If you read the list (I have indicated the menu pages and. chapters involved) and follow the menus in sequence doing all of these, then judge the result.

ou said 6D Mk II, then you said R6 Mark II.  Which is it?

R6, i`m not sure where the 6D came from 😬

The ref to the 6DII is in your main title.  You can correct that.
