In November 2012 I bought a 60D and a few weeks later, after my second recharge of the battery, a problem developed: a newly-charged battery would discharge after about 3 days when put in the camera, but not at all in 3 days out of the camera. This without using the camera at all. Canon Service would only offer to repair it and not provide a replacement, which I thought would be appropriate since it was close to an out-of-box failure. Fortunately Costco, my retailer, stood behind it and gave me a replacement camera.
Has anyone else had this experience with the 60D?
