Hi All, I just wanted to make sure I am thinking correctly about available options for my Canon RF full frame camera. I am looking at a couple of wide angle options and currently have the small RF 16mm 2.8 which is doing a reasonable job for the time being for night sky photography. If I wanted something a hair wider and faster, there is a sigma 14mm 1.4 option with a L mount. I assume there would be a canon mount (EF?), I would then need a converter for the EF to RF mount. Correct?

Greetings,
Can you share the model of your camera with us please?
The lens you are considering, a sigma 14 mm is actually f1.8. This comes in an EF mount. The f1.4 does not. This lenses is $1,599 plus the adapter. That's quite a bit of money for 2mm less FL and approx 1.3 stops of light. I'd try to buy used if you have a need for it.
