Does anybody here have either or both of these lenses? If so, what's your evaluation of it/them? I'm just itch'n to deplete my checking account balance a tad and both of these lenses really tickle my fancy.

What are you looking to do with them?

I have the ef 85mm f1.2L. It is a spectacular lens. Love it! It is also a very limited use lens. As KVB queried, what is your goal for such a lens? MOF, I have both the ef 50mm f1.2L and the big 85mil.
One warning about the 85, it is slow to focus. Not a biggie if you are aware but it can be a surprise to a novice user.

I had the Sigma 85mm f1.4 Art model. I sold it and the 50mm Art to buy the Canon ef 50mm f1.2L and ef 85mm f1.2L.
Everybody said I was off my rocker because the Siggies are so sharp. And, they are right but there ain't nutin' like the pair of f1.2L lenses. Sharpness is not the only spec to consider about a lens. It must be looked at as a package. You could give me a boat load of Siggies and I would still keep and prefer my 50mm and 85mm f1.2L lenses.
There is little doubt Canon has made and continues to make the best camera lenses in the world. Talking about the line 'in toto'. Yes, they made a few duds but they also made a few extraordinary and remarkable lenses. A few, but not limited to, might be the ef 400mm f5.6L, the ef 50mm f1L (that's no typo it is an f1 lens) and the ef 50mm f1.2L/ef 85mm f1.2L pair.
I'll predict you will either love it or hate it. No in between!
