A friend gave me this older Sigma lens and I’m trying to see if there is an adapter to put this in my R50. I picked one up but it wasn’t the right one, so hoping someone could advise. Thanks

It will not be worth your time adapting that lens to the RF Mount. That lens looks like it could be Canon’s older FD Mount for manual focus SLRs. Everything will be manual and no kind of automation.

Yes, that is a Sigma lens with a Canon FD mount. You woud need an FD to RF mount adapter.

Greetings,
My recommendation is don't do it. Don't even try. That lens is a museum piece. If you want a Sigma lens for your R50, grab the RF 16-300. 👍

Well not to beat a dead horse but I also advise not trying to adapt it to anything current even a DSLR. I am sure somebody makes an adapter but even if you find one the result you get will be terrible. CA will be off the charts for one thing. (ask me how I know!) 😬
