Compatibility of the 70-200mm F2.8 RF lens with the 1.4x RF converter?

Hi,  I tried to put a 1.4x RF converter on my 70-200mm  F/2.8 RF lens and it appears to be incompatible.  I made sure the lens was zoomed out and I pressed the button on the side of the converter and nothing works.  What am I doing wrong?  Thanks, JJ

Greetings ,

The TC's manual doesn't list the RF 70-200 as compatible with the 1.4x or 2.0x TCs.  I'm sorry if you were not aware of this.  It's a wonderful lens. I own one myself and actually prefer it to the internal zoom.  An RF 70-200 Z internal zoom is rumored to be in the pipeline. It will support the 1.4 or 2.0 TCs.
