Hi everyone,
So the focus ring on my 35mm 1.4 lens works, but it doesn't go all the way to one of the sides. It goes to the end on the left, but when turning it to the right, it stops just after 0.5m and it won't go all the way to "infinity". It doesn't even show the infinity symbol in the clear window before it stops. Check the video to see what I mean.

Is there a simple fix? Can I take it partially apart and fix it?

Hello canongiraffe,
We understand the EF 35mm f/1.4 USM doesn't seem to go to infinity. We recommend sending the unit for evaluation at your earliest convenience. You may fill out an online repair request form at the following link to setup your repair using our online service.
