at first I thought it was an ink problem, but even though I replaced the ink, the double text still shows. Help!!

Please try an encoder cleaning. This is the clear strip inside of your printer.
Please follow the steps in the article below. It is for a different model, but the steps are similar:

If the issue persists, your iP100 would require service.
