Unable to send email with attachment after scanning through mobile app

Hi, i just purchased MX492 model printer and it is all working fine when i access it from laptop. However, while using mobile app, it doesnt let me send email as an attachment. 

"Send" button is always disabled so i couldnt send it. I use iphonex. Is there a way i can fix or do i need to try a different printer model?

Are you able to save the image to your phone first and then send it via email?
