I just purchased an MG8220 printer and started setting it up last night. I was succesful getting the printer itself set up to copy and scan, but when I put the disc in my laptop to instal the drivers, I received an error. "An error occurred while files were being copied. 0001 0002"
I tried going to the Canon website and downloading the drivers from there, but I get the same error message. Can someone help me? Canon support isn't open until Monday and I really want to get this working before then.

Hi LarkinK,
If you right-click over the driver file that you have downloaded from the Canon USA website and select RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR from the menu that appears to install the drivers, are you able to install the printer successfully? What about if you disable any antivirus or firewall software that you have on your computer and then attempt to reinstall the drivers?
