Setup No. 9 in PIXMA TS3322 missing?

I have been trying to figure out what setup number 9 on the LCD Operations Panel for my TS3322 printer does!

Though really my issue is primarily that the user manual does not give any table to show the setup item numbers and what each does. They do for the TS3400 series (https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Manual/All/TS3400%20series/EN/UG/ug-259.html), and so using that I was able to create one for the TS3300 myself by comparing their user manuals. They are extremely similar except on the TS3300 series, the setup numbers from 9-15 are increased by 1 (meaning they are 10-16 instead), and 16 “Wi-Fi pairing settings” is eliminated as far as I can tell. Which means there is no 9.

I have the TS3322 printer. When I went to just select 9 and try to see what happened, nothing happens. I tried the black and color buttons but it never leaves the setup menu, showing the blinking 9 like nothing happened. None of the other set up numbers do this, they all attempt to react when you choose them by using the color or black buttons and will change to the spinning bars indicating that it’s processing. Does that mean that item 9 just has no function?

I did look at some previous series too to see if there was an obsolete item that used to be there but the TS3200 series is the same and the TS300 series is not comparable. This means that for many iterations they left a setup item number that was blank and useless, which I just find unlikely. So what does it do??

Hi maddykay,

To view the functions available by using the Setup button  on your PIXMA TS3322, please refer to the article provided by clicking this link:

Maintenance Functions / Settings Available on the TS3320 / TS3322 Operation Panel

Because Google Cloud Print is no longer available, function "9" no longer is active.
