PIXMA TR4700 series: Text prints messed up, possible communication issues

My Canon TR4700 printer is installed correctly, but the text prints messed up even after putting in new ink. It is currently using a WSD port, which might be causing communication issues. I need you to switch it from WSD to a Standard TCP/IP port, run a nozzle check, run print head cleaning, and run print head alignment. Please check the ink flow and make sure the printhead is working correctly.

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using within the PIXMA TR4700 series.  The model number should appear on the front of the unit at the upper right.
