PIXMA MX892 - error print head

Hello! My Pixma MX892 is throwing a U052 error on the print head. I have tried 

- shutting printer off and back on;

- disconnecting and reconnecting power at the wall plug;

- head clean from printer menu;

- head clean from laptop;

- reseeding all cartridges;

- replacing all cartridges;

- cleaning print head with cleaning kit.

shy of head replacement, any other ideas?
