Hi everyone,
I was in a rush for work and forgot to close my top area for my Canon MG3620. I began scanning and looked down at the bright light.
Should I seek medical help for this? I don't think it's like a lazer or anything right? It uses LED or fluorescent lights, I believe.
Any help is appreciated!
Thank you,
Justin

If you can see well enough to type you are probably ok.
as long as there are no permanent impairments,I.e., the afterimage fades, you are fine

Hi, Justin! The light on the scanner isn't anything particularly special. It's simply there to light up the document that needs to be scanned. It's similar to a common fluorescent light.
Hope this helps!
