PIXMA G620 will not print 5x7 photo correctly

Katboo74

Hello.  Today I tried to print out a 5x7 photo from my iPhone 16.  I used the canon print app and made sure that I had the settings for paper size changed to 5x7 and that it was a photo on glossy paper.  And this is the result.  Around 3/4 inch on top and bottom of photo that are blank and it’s off center as well.  Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong?
thank you.

Hi Katboo74,

Please contact one of Canon's Technical Support Representatives via phone or chat. To contact a Technical Support Representative, please use the link below to log into your My Canon account:

Once logged in, click on your PIXMA G620 and then click on the Product Support button. When that page loads, click on either the Phone Support button or the Chat Support button to access support. A Technical Support Representative will assist you with printing 5" x 7" images from your iPhone using your PIXMA G620.

Greetings ,

On the surface it looks like you're trying to print a landscape photo in portrait orientation.

If that's not the case then you will need to edit the photo first.

I did try printing it both landscape and portrait and both times it didn’t print correctly.  The photo is on my iPhone and I have changed the ratio aspect to 7:5 and will see if that works.
